Keeping People Safe

At Feeser’s Food Distributors, we do more than deliver the products your kitchen needs daily — we’re also committed to your overall success in the foodservice industry. One of the most critical issues in any restaurant or food establishment is food safety. An incident with food safety can harm your reputation and lead to negative consequences.

Find out about options to get your kitchen staff trained and certified in food safety, whether you want to learn at your own pace or attend an in-person training session below.

The Importance of  Food Safety Training

Your restaurant or commercial kitchen is full of safety hazards, from cleaning chemicals and broken glass to food-borne illnesses. The best way to protect your customers, business, and team is to commit to ongoing food safety training and education.

Whether you choose to train online with TAP Series or select a one-on-one approach with ServSafe®, passing either test ensures everyone on your team knows the national food safety guidelines, including:

  • How to handle food
  • Importance of personal hygiene
  • Food poisoning
  • Food allergies
  • Other food-related health risks caused by contaminated food
  • And more
