1. Bring 3-4 quarts salted (optional) water or broth to a boil. 2. Place frozen dumplings in boiling liquid; stir dumplings to separate, return to boil. 3. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 3-5 minutes or to desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. 4. Drain and rinse. For Soups & Stews: Cook dumplings in broth for the same length of time. Omit salt.
