Food Safety Manager Certificate
To obtain a Food Safety Manager Certificate, a student must complete the Food Safety Manager Certification training and pass a test from a nationally recognized program.

 

1. FOOD SAFETY MANAGER CERTIFICATION ONLINE TRAINING - $75.00 (add 6% PA sales tax)
The Food Safety Manager Certification Training from the TAP (Training Achievement Program) series is approved by PA Law, Act 106 of 2010.

Expiration date of training
A student has 6 months from the date of purchase to complete the training and pass a test from a nationally recognized program.

 

2. NATIONAL REGISTRY TEST - $46.00 (add 6% PA sales tax)
The National Registry Test is approved by PA Law, Act 106 of 2010.

To schedule for the test
A student who passes all 14 lessons and the practice test of the Food Safety Manager Certification Training by at least 80% is eligible to call to schedule for the National Registry Test. The computerized, multiple-choice test is offered at Feesers office (5561 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111). Tests are scheduled at 2 p.m. on weekdays. Call 800-326-2828 ext. 1223 to schedule for the test.

Bring ID for the test
A student needs to show a current photo ID such as a driver’s license before taking the test.

When you will get a Food Safety Manager Certificate
A student must pass the National Registry Test with a scaled score of at least 75 in order to receive a Food Safety Manager Certificate. The student should receive a certificate within two weeks after taking the test by postal mail.
